In October 2020, we will be transitioning to 100% online, plus so much more! 

 

Q. Why are you moving online?

A. Our founding principle has always been to support the clean beauty industry in Australia and New Zealand. Running a physical store requires significant resources, which has hampered our ability to truly add value to the industry, the businesses we work with, and the customers who rely on us. Focusing our efforts online will allow us to do what we’ve
always done in a more impactful way. From where we first started to where we are today,we have continually adapted in order to be, and do, better; we’re really excited about this
next phase in our evolution!

Q. Will I still be able to buy my favourite products?

A. Absolutely! As always, we will continue to stock a range of eco-luxe brands for Beauty + Body + Being from Australia and New Zealand. By going online, we’re not limited by the space constraints of a physical store so we’ll be able to stock even more incredible products and brands and give you greater choice than ever before

Q. But online shopping is not the same as going to a store. How am I going to know if something is ‘right’ for me?

A. Focused customer service has always, and will always be, a key priority for conscious.kin. In fact, going online opens up even greater opportunities to connect with our community:

  1. One-on-one consultations with our expert team via Facetime, Zoom, phone or email;
  2. Online questionnaires you can complete at any time;
  3. More educational content than ever before across our digital channels, including tutorials, reviews, interviews with brand creators and more;
  4. Taking conscious.kin on the road! We’ll be hosting a series of pop-ups in various locations (COVID-19 permitting) so stay tuned for more details around that in the near future.

Still want to be able to see/feel/smell before you buy? No problems! We are introducing new sample packs with a discount code if you purchase a full-size product, so you can be rest assured you’re making the right choice.

Q. Will much about the current website change?

A. Yes – a change for the better! We’re moving to a more user-friendly Shopify platform, which will provide a more personalised shopping experience.

Enhanced filters will enable more meaningful searches, so you can refine by skin type and skin concern as well as values, including Certified Organic, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Pregnancy Safe, BIPOC, 100% AU Made or 100% NZ Made.

We are also really excited to launch our new Conscious Beauty Directory, a curated list of clean, ethical and sustainable service providers across Australia & New Zealand. This will allow you to find makeup artists, beauty therapists, hair dressers, naturopaths, nail salons and more near you that have been vetted and approved in line with our standards.

Q. What are your shipping terms?

A. As always, we will continue to ship all orders Express Post Australia-wide and will also expand our shipping capabilities to include New Zealand via courier.
