From one of our founding kin

"Beauty can be found in the day’s first rays of light, the ocean at night, the depths of someone’s eyes, a hand-crafted trinket or indeed the confidence of a person celebrating their unique gift, talents and appearance, It is without constraint, rules, barriers or standards. It is freedom" - Rebecca Medcalf

Do you ever find yourself so over-exposed by information that it brings you almost to the point of disconnect? It seems that there are just so many causes, businesses, people and issues that fighting to be noticed in our daily lives…

And just when you reach the point of complete saturation… there appears this tiny whisper of silence that occasionally winds its way to our consciousness.

That small and gentle place that invites you to look inward.

To figure out a way to cope and to ensure you make your decisions from a place of personal values and beliefs. Notions deeply held that you might have been raised with or fought to acquire through knowledge or life experience.

There is no greater example of this - that when we look past the vast barrage of media related ‘beauty images’ to find the true definition of beauty in words…

"the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit" – Miriam-Webster Dictionary

Isn’t there just such a world of possibility in those words?

Beauty can be found in the day’s first rays of light, the ocean at night, the depths of someone’s eyes, a hand-crafted trinket or indeed the confidence of a person celebrating their unique gift, talents and appearance.

It is without constraint, rules, barriers or standards. It is freedom.

We already have it in us, around us, in front and behind us on life’s journey.

Infinite and innate. Not to be bought, achieved or obtained.

That whisper that brings us back to what we really know to be true.

Conscious Kin.
