Our pledge:

You will find in every conscious.kin store recycle points for all skincare and cosmetic products

Earth Day is a dedicated time to deeply connect, observe and access the impact we have made and continue to make on our earth and its ecosystems. Governments, large organisations, small business, schools, families and as individuals we are all responsible for the impact we have on the health of our planet.

Established almost 50 years on the 22nd of April 1970, a day where millions of people took to the streets to protest the negative impacts of 150 years of industrial development, Earth Day is now observed worldwide by more then 1 billion people in 193 countries. It has become the largest civic-focused day of action in the world.

The United Nations Organisation creates special observances to promote international awareness and action on important issues. Earth Day “provides a solid platform to discuss and explore sustainable production and consumption patterns that are in harmony with Nature, and importantly ensuring that people everywhere have the relevant information and awareness for sustainable development and lifestyles which reflect and honour the interdependence that exists among human beings, other living species and the planet we all inhabit.

Earth Day 2018 is focused on mobilizing the world to End Plastic Pollution, including creating support for a global effort to eliminate single-use plastics along with global regulation for the disposal of plastics.  EDN will educate millions of people about the health and other risks associated with the use and disposal of plastics, including pollution of our oceans, water, and wildlife, and about the growing body of evidence that decomposing plastics are creating serious global problems.

Our commitment as the founders of conscious.kin.

As of 22nd of April, Earth Day 2018 you will find in every store recycle points for all skincare and cosmetic products sold by conscious.kin. We have partnered with TerraCycle a world wide organisation committed recycling and reusing all waste including what has previously been non-recyclable.

When you have finished your product, simply:

  1. remove any excess product from from your containers
  2. pop in store

The staff will help you dispose them in a TerraCycle designated bin. That is some to really celebrate this Earth Day!!

Not only that save 25% on some incredible, ethical brands - but also work towards minimising waste by shopping at conscious.kin & closing the loop via our TerraCycle program.

We know you have questions and we are so happy to answer them.
